Business needs

The online store for the Łąki Kwietne brand required from us a flexible approach and a good understanding of the recipient of the brand's products. To this end, the Blue Owl team has completed the following tasks:

  • conducting eCommerce workshops;
  • preparation of the full information architecture of the online store;
  • creating utility and graphic models of the online store;
  • implementation of a dedicated graphic design on the eCommerce WooCommerce platform;
  • installation of key modules of the online store;
  • implementations of dedicated solutions.

The main task was to transfer the expectations of website users to actual eCommerce shopping experiences.

The main goal of the project

The main goal of the project for the Łąki Kwietne brand was to create a modern, effective, but also beautiful eCommerce platform that engages website users and provides them with positive information in this area.

Challenges

Designing an eCommerce website for the Łąki Kwietne brand is also a number of challenges for the Blue Owl team. The key elements that we had to prepare as a team were:

  • thorough analysis of eCommerce website users;
  • preparation of a benchmarking analysis;
  • conducting Design Thinking workshops in the area of an online store;
  • creating individual UX / UI projects of the online store;
  • implementation of all graphic designs on a dedicated template based on WordPress WooCommerce;
  • implementation of online store modules.

Finally, a modern, attractive and effective eCommerce platform was created for people who appreciate not only nature and products, but also the value of the portal.

Project description

The research and workshop part was the beginning of work related to the creation of a new online store for the Łąki Kwietne brand. Due to the fact that as a team we had access to analytical data from the operation of the current online store, we used them without hesitation. In the research part, we thoroughly familiarized ourselves with Google Analitycs and Hotjar data, which allowed us to identify key behaviors as part of the user's shopping path. It allowed us to better prepare for the workshop and design phase of the new eCommerce website.

The next step was the workshop process. Our eCommerce workshops were focused on thoroughly understanding the needs and requirements of the target users of the online store. The analysis of the target group and customer personas allowed for a better understanding of the goals of the eCommerce platform. In the next steps, our team prepared a thorough benchmarking analysis and mapped several possible customer paths that the target users of the online store follow. The summary of the research and workshop process was to create a complete information architecture for the entire eCommerce website.

The knowledge and materials collected during the research and workshops allowed us to prepare a fully dedicated graphic design of the online store. The design phase was divided according to the standard, first to prepare lo-fi (UX) mockups, and then to design hi-fi mockups (UI). At this stage, all design work has been completed along with the preparation for the implementation of the entire eCommerce website on the WordPress WooCommerce engine.

The implementation stage includes, in addition to the obvious implementation of the graphic layer on the front-end, also the need to integrate key elements of the online store on the back-end. At this stage, our team has prepared full integration with external modules and plugins necessary for the correct and, above all, effective operation of the eCommerce website. The last step was the thorough optimization of the shop platform and its implementation on the client's production server.

The key elements thanks to which the new eCommerce website for the Łąki Kwietne brand was created include:

  • user insights from the existing data analysis process;
  • information obtained during eCommerce workshops;
  • creating a dedicated graphic design of the online store;
  • implementation of a graphic design on the WordPress WooCommerce platform;
  • optimization of the loading speed of the online store.

The research and workshop process, preparation of a dedicated graphic design and its implementation on the WordPress WooCommerce platform allowed for the creation of a unique and effective eCommerce website.
